John (Woody) Woroschuk<- back to main bio pageJohn received his first guitar at the age of nine and started playing professionally at 12 years of age in his older brothers’ bands. In his early 20’s John studied classical guitar, while still playing with various bar bands in Edmonton. On a bet with a friend, he purchased his first resonator (Dobro™) guitar 12 years ago. He has also just finished recording his first solo CD, “Woodshed” due out in 2005. Whether it’s with his acoustic, classical, electric or resonator guitars, John enjoys playing all forms of music, from “Bach to Rock”.
